Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) on Friday said it has incorporated a step-down subsidiary, Adani Ecogen Five Ltd (AE5L), on January 1, 2026, to undertake power generation from renewable energy sources, including solar and wind.

According to a regulatory filing, AE5L has been incorporated in India and registered with the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad, and is yet to commence business operations.

The company said Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Ltd (AREH11L), a wholly owned subsidiary of AGEL, has incorporated AE5L as its wholly owned subsidiary.
