Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, chaired a high-level meeting at the MY Bharat Headquarters in New Delhi today to review flood relief measures in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

It was decided that over 1,000 NDMA-trained MY Bharat Aapda Mitras will be mobilised to support relief and rescue operations. These volunteers will help deliver essential supplies and services to remote villages cut off by the floods.

Dr. Mandaviya said the initiative reflects how MY Bharat has empowered youth to contribute to nation-building through large-scale mobilisation. He also directed that volunteers and District Youth Officers work in close coordination with District Magistrates to ensure timely and effective assistance to affected communities.
