The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Primus Partners Pvt. Ltd. to strengthen collaboration in supporting India’s startup and innovation ecosystem.

The partnership aims to assist early-stage and growth-stage product startups through capacity-building programs, expert mentorship, market access support, policy awareness initiatives, and technology integration facilitation.

Shri Sanjiv, Joint Secretary, DPIIT, said the collaboration underscores DPIIT’s commitment to fostering an innovation-led economy and creating pathways for startups to drive sustainable growth, job creation, and India’s emergence as a global innovation hub.

Shri Davinder Sandhu, Co-Founder and Chairman of Primus Partners, added that the initiative will enable structured engagement with startups through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and industry linkages, contributing to a robust ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The MoU reinforces DPIIT’s focus on industry-led engagement to promote innovation, self-reliance, and inclusive economic growth.
