The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of a certain stake in Curefit Healthcare Private Limited by MacRitchie Investments Pte. Ltd.

The proposed transaction involves MacRitchie Investments acquiring an additional stake in Curefit Healthcare to support the company’s capital requirements and growth in the fitness sector.

MacRitchie Investments is an investment holding company and does not undertake any business operations other than managing investments. It is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited. Temasek’s portfolio spans multiple sectors, including transportation, financial services, telecommunications, media and technology, consumer and real estate, as well as life sciences and agri-food.

Curefit Healthcare Private Limited is the parent entity of the Curefit Healthcare Group. The group primarily operates in the fitness sector and is engaged in activities such as offering fitness management programmes, providing fitness centre memberships, operating and franchising fitness centres, and selling fitness apparel, footwear, and accessories in India.
