Bharat Forge Ltd has signed a long-term contract with Embraer for the manufacturing and supply of critical landing gear forgings for commercial and defence aircraft programs.
With this agreement, Bharat Forge becomes the first Indian supplier to join Embraer’s global aerospace supply chain for forged components. The company will supply high-integrity forged parts used in landing gear systems across multiple aircraft platforms.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for Bharat Forge’s aerospace business and further strengthens its position in the global supply chain for complex and safety-critical aerospace components. The company said the agreement reflects a shared commitment to quality, reliability, and long-term collaboration while meeting stringent global aerospace certification standards.
Commenting on the development, Amit B Kalyani said the contract is a proud moment for the company and a recognition of the capabilities it has built in the aerospace segment. He added that the agreement would help Bharat Forge scale its structural aerospace component business alongside its growing aero-engine components portfolio.
Embraer stated that the contract reflects its commitment to strengthening India’s aerospace ecosystem and creating long-term value across the supply chain. The company also highlighted its growing engagement with Indian industry and government stakeholders as it expands its presence in the country.
