Benchmarks Sensex and Nifty50 pared early gains on Friday pulled by pharma and metal stocks.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80246.75 up by 4.51 points or by 0.01 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24242.75 down by -91.45 points or by -0.38 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81177.93 and intraday low of 80168.59 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24589.15 and intraday low of 24238.5

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1267.95,+4.19%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 851.55,+1.56%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12374.50,+0.93%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 234.60,+0.90%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 649.05,+0.76%), among others.
