Domestic bourses continued to gain strength during the noon trading session after the Reserve Bank cut repo rate by a higher-than-expected 50 basis points to prop up growth.
At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82141.45 up by 699.41 points or by 0.86 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24971.4 up by 220.5 points or by 0.89 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 82299.89 and intraday low of 81140.11 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25029.5 and intraday low of 24671.45
