Indian stock markets were trading higher on Wednesday, tracking firmness in global markets. Besides, stock-specific action amid the ongoing quarterly earnings season for the June quarter (Q1FY26) results also guided the sentiment.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82609.72 up by 422.91 points or by 0.51 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25173.65 up by 112.75 points or by 0.45 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82632.99 and intraday low of 82279.73 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25176.65 and intraday low of 25085.5
