Benchmark Indian equity indices, Sensex and Nifty50, traded higher on hopes of easing trade tensions between India and the US.

At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85255.13 up by 828.79 points or by 0.98 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26090.4 up by 221.8 points or by 0.86 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 85272.4 and intraday low of 84867.97 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26099.7 and intraday low of 25991.7

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1544.00,+4.89%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1546.85,+3.97%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3096.00,+2.95%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1268.15,+2.61%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1479.60,+2.16%), among others.
