Benchmark Indian equity indices, Sensex and Nifty50, traded higher on hopes of easing trade tensions between India and the US.

The 30-share benchmark index ended at 84556.4 up by 130.06 points or by 0.15 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25891.4 up by 22.8 points or by 0.09 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 85290.06 and intraday low of 84445.25 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26104.2 and intraday low of 25862.45

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1528.85,+3.86%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1524.05,+2.43%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3074.65,+2.24%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1259.40,+1.90%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2223.15,+1.24%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 328.30,-2.88%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 12130.00,-1.75%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 2010.00,-1.63%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1452.45,-1.41%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1363.50,-1.35%), among others.
