Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty declined on Friday amid profit-taking after almost a week-long rally and fresh foreign fund outflows.

At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84296.14 down by -260.26 points or by -0.31 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25832.15 down by -59.25 points or by -0.23 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 84707.44 and intraday low of 84277.33 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25944.15 and intraday low of 25816.1

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1379.50,+1.17%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 175.75,+0.95%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 2020.85,+0.62%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3636.10,+0.37%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3075.70,+0.03%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2517.60,-3.20%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2170.70,-2.44%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1435.70,-1.15%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1245.45,-1.11%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 12009.00,-1.10%), among others.
