Benchmark indices were trading with gains in Wednesday early morning deals, rebounding from losses seen in the previous session after reports suggested that Iran is preparing a phased proposal as part of efforts to revive stalled negotiations.
Among sectors, the Nifty Auto index rose 2.5 per cent, followed by FMCG, IT, Realty and Oil & Gas up over 1 per cent each. Nifty Bank, Financial Services, Metal, Pharma, Healthcare, Consumer Durables, and Chemicals were also trading higher.
On the currency front, the Indian Rupee is trading weaker by 22 paise at 94.76 against the US Dollar, compared to the previous close of 94.54, indicating continued pressure on the domestic currency.
At 10:35 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77841.36 up by 954.45 points or by 1.24 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24270.45 up by 274.75 points or by 1.14 %.
In the positive trade so-far, Sensex touched intraday high of 77879.68 and intraday low of 77136.2 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24273.65 and intraday low of 24059.95.
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 13433.55,+4.20%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3176.70,+2.87%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1445.55,+2.58%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1891.90,+2.52%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 311.30,+2.25%), among others.
Whereas, the top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2454.95,-0.32%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1290.00,-0.14%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1288.25,-0.09%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 4251.00,-0.07%), among others.
On the sector front, Auto index was at 58121.96 up by 1149.14 points or by 2.02%. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 13437.90,+4.24%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3175.80,+2.84%), Bharat Forge Ltd. (Rs. 1940.00,+2.39%), Eicher Motors Ltd. (Rs. 7224.95,+2.18%), TVS Motor Company Ltd. (Rs. 3565.20,+1.96%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4059 , shares advanced were 2342 while 1499 shares declined and 218 were unchanged.
