Domestic bourses continued to hover on red on Friday pressured by weak global cues amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran.

At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77302.28 down by -542.24 points or by -0.7 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24171.55 down by -155.1 points or by -0.64 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 77647.44 and intraday low of 77243.04 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24253.8 and intraday low of 24138.4

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2595.40,+2.61%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1756.65,+1.37%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 404.20,+0.94%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1461.10,+0.89%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1194.00,+0.89%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 779.70,-2.03%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 954.45,-1.86%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1268.40,-1.85%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 11927.70,-1.78%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 4233.25,-1.39%), among others.
