Indian benchmark indices closed higher on Thursday, supported by value buying, easing market volatility, and firm global cues amid optimism over the ongoing US-China talks.

The 30-share benchmark index ended at 75398.72 up by 789.74 points or by 1.06 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23689.6 up by 277 points or by 1.18 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 75681.88 and intraday low of 74526.77 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23777.2 and intraday low of 23426.55

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1883.25,+5.32%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 245.80,+3.32%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 769.60,+2.67%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1773.20,+2.14%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1863.00,+2.12%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1095.60,-2.46%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1345.25,-2.16%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1124.80,-1.63%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2245.85,-1.18%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2248.60,-0.84%), among others.
