Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty were trading higher on Friday, supported by buying in IT stocks and firm trends in the US markets.

At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 75774.54 up by 375.82 points or by 0.5 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23820.5 up by 130.9 points or by 0.55 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 75870.36 and intraday low of 75251.15 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23837 and intraday low of 23663.35

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1120.50,+2.27%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1810.80,+2.12%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 391.20,+2.10%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1373.15,+2.07%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2290.40,+1.98%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1340.20,-1.58%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 4079.80,-1.22%), State Bank of India (Rs. 968.50,-1.13%), Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 426.90,-0.45%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3159.80,-0.38%), among others.
