The benchmark equity indices trimmed their early gains around noon on Friday amid profit booking at higher levels and a sharp rise in crude oil prices.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 75590.33 up by 191.61 points or by 0.25 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23725.5 up by 35.9 points or by 0.15 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 75870.36 and intraday low of 75251.15 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23839.3 and intraday low of 23663.35

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1123.30,+2.53%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1378.50,+2.47%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1816.45,+2.44%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2286.80,+1.82%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 390.05,+1.80%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1336.00,-1.89%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 4060.00,-1.70%), State Bank of India (Rs. 969.20,-1.06%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 11589.90,-0.98%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 219.00,-0.97%), among others.
