Indian benchmark indices Nifty50 and Sensex traded higher during the morning session, shrugging off mixed global cues and a fresh escalation in tensions in West Asia, supported by buying in select heavyweight stocks.

At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77469.7 up by 703.78 points or by 0.92 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24187.1 up by 201.75 points or by 0.84 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 77559.48 and intraday low of 77333.24 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24203.2 and intraday low of 24136.75

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1141.85,+3.26%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3950.00,+3.06%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2074.00,+2.51%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2451.00,+2.22%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 746.70,+1.53%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 5219.95,-0.93%), Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 386.15,-0.77%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.
