Indian benchmark indices Nifty50 and Sensex traded higher during the morning session, shrugging off mixed global cues and a fresh escalation in tensions in West Asia, supported by buying in select heavyweight stocks.
At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77469.7 up by 703.78 points or by 0.92 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24187.1 up by 201.75 points or by 0.84 %.
