The benchmark indices, Nifty 50 and Sensex, remained under pressure on Wednesday, dragged down by losses in IT, realty and FMCG stocks.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77699.85 down by -454.4 points or by -0.58 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24290.3 down by -181.4 points or by -0.74 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78263.33 and intraday low of 77497.93 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24473.3 and intraday low of 24265.95

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2336.85,-4.24%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 184.85,-1.88%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1168.35,-1.65%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3422.30,-1.57%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 5047.85,-1.31%), among others.
