The Nifty50 and Sensex opened lower on Thursday, weighed down by weakness in IT and realty stocks.

At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77742.63 down by 221 points or by 0.29 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24342.55 down by -93.4 points or by -0.38 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78111.91 and intraday low of 78111.91 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24431.6 and intraday low of 24335.25
